Opened back in 2003 as the original Vivat Bacchus, Vivat Bacchus Farringdon features a modern European menu, which also incorporates influences from the Pacific Rim and Africa. In addition to the Vivat Bacchus a la carte menu, sandwiches and sharing platters are available. Cheese lovers are in for a treat, as Vivat Bacchus has its own cheese room featuring around 35 cheeses from several countries and guests are able to personalise their own cheese board. With over 100 wines to choose from on the wine menu, Vivat Bacchus features both old and new world wines, with an emphasis on South African producers. Wine tasting events are held every Monday whilst those who love red meat and red wine can join the Club Carnivore evenings.
